CNC Machinist (1st, 2nd, 3rd & Weekend Shift)

MachinistWe are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team, where you will play a vital role in operating CNC Machining Centers efficiently and ensuring high-quality production. Your expertise in interpreting complicated drawings and blueprints will be crucial to your success in this position.ResponsibilitiesInterpret complicated drawings and blueprints accurately.Set up and operate CNC Machining Centers efficiently to meet quality standards.Prove out, debug, and provide feedback on CNC programs.Incorporate expert knowledge of materials to determine efficient speeds and feeds.Utilize expert tooling knowledge to complete jobs efficiently.Work independently with minimal supervision and be self-motivated.Work overtime as required to meet project deadlines.Essential SkillsMinimum 3+ years as a CNC Set-Up Machinist.Proficiency in using Mazak or Fanuc equipment.Ability to interpret, edit, and program G-code efficiently.Additional Skills & QualificationsTechnical school diploma plus 2 years of CNC experience or 5 years of CNC experience.Ability to work 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift 8-10 hour shifts with weekends on call due to projects.Why Work Here?Join a dynamic and privately held machine shop that values expertise and independence. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
