The CNC Machinist sets up and operates CNC lathes with Fanuc controls to produce precision components in a low-volume manufacturing environment. This position interprets blueprints, enters code for speed, feed, and cutting parameters, and adjusts tooling and offsets to meet dimensional tolerances. Responsibilities include calculating and verifying part dimensions using precision measuring instruments, performing daily equipment maintenance, ensuring proper machine lubrication before operation, and maintaining a clean, safe work area.
Operate and set up CNC Lathe machines to perform repetitive machining operations-low volume
Calculate and verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts using knowledge of mathematics and precision instruments such as tape measures, steel scales, and Vernier calipers
Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the tool path for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tool parts
Perform Daily maintenance on equipment and machinery
Ensure that all CNC machines are adequately lubricated before each processes initiation
Fanuc format base Computer Numerical Control (CNC)
Fanuc format base Computer Numerical Control (CNC) experience is an asset

The compensation range for this position is $18.00–$22.00 per hour, depending on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location. You will receive a signing bonus of $500 after successfully completing your three (3) month probationary period and $500 after one (1) year of continuous employment. You must be on active payroll for the entire timeframe to qualify for the signing bonus.
