The mission of our team is to build, deliver and support demo environments for use by our solution engineers (SEs) here at Salesforce. These demonstration environments incorporate the latest product capabilities that Salesforce has to offer. With these demo environments, SEs have the baseline demo that they need to deliver a best practice demo for Financial Services and enable our SEs to scale, innovate and provide the best product demonstrations of their careers.

We are looking for a strong release manager to join our SE team, responsible for the Financial Services AMER Industry Demo Org. In this role you would own the demo environment from idea to reality, project managing the demo creation process including managing a product backlog, use case/feature prioritization, storyboarding, validation, demo build, release communication and enablement.

This role is for someone who doesn't just manage releases, they help define what's possible. You will play a key role in shaping how AI-powered demos, open source assets, and intelligent agents are built and delivered to our SE community. This is your chance to define the future and set the standard for how Salesforce solution engineers demonstrate our solutions to Financial Services prospects and customers.

Proven success managing cross-functional, multi-workstream projects to on-time completion.

Coordinate release content and effort based on service requests, third-party applications, and system updates.

Ensure quality control through comprehensive testing and defect resolution processes.

Salesforce Product Expertise

Utilize Salesforce metadata configuration tools to design and deploy custom applications and solutions.

Collaborate with developers to leverage Salesforce metadata configuration for seamless integration and deployment.

Ensure that Salesforce metadata components are aligned with overall release plans, business objectives, and organizational best practices.

Utilize Salesforce OmniStudio tools to design and deploy custom applications and solutions.

Collaborate with developers to leverage OmniStudio's capabilities for seamless integration and deployment.

Hands-on experience designing, building, or deploying Agentforce agents within Salesforce environments.

Stay current on Agentforce capabilities, prompt engineering best practices, and the evolving landscape of AI tooling within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Partner with build teams to integrate Agentforce use cases into Financial Services and Healthcare demo orgs in meaningful, story-driven ways.

Code Repository & DevOps Management

Own and manage code repositories (GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent) for demo org assets, ensuring clean branching strategies, versioning, and documentation standards.

Champion best practices around pull requests, code reviews, and commit hygiene across the build team.

Partner with CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment and testing of Salesforce metadata, OmniStudio components, and agent configurations.

Ensure repositories are organized and accessible so that SE contributors can find, fork, and build on existing assets with minimal friction.

Open Source Asset Creation & Distribution

Lead the creation and curation of open source demo assets, templates, and accelerators that can be shared directly with the broader SE community or external customers.

Define standards for how open source assets are packaged, documented, and versioned for customer-facing distribution.

Evaluate AI tooling that can assist in generating documentation, release notes, and onboarding guides for open source assets at scale.

Salesforce Environment Management

Manage Salesforce build org environments to align with release schedules and business needs.

Risk Management

Identify and manage risks related to Salesforce releases.

Develop contingency plans to mitigate potential risks and ensure smooth releases.

Document release procedures, guidelines, and lessons learned.

S. or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering or MIS

Proven experience as a Release Manager with both Salesforce core and OmniStudio experience.

Strong understanding of Salesforce development lifecycle and deployment methodologies.

Experience and willingness to help with build tasks, as needed.

At least one year of hands‑on experience with Salesforce OmniStudio tools, including FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors, and Integration Procedures.

Familiarity with Agentforce or equivalent AI agent platforms, with a curiosity and drive to deepen that expertise.

Excellent project management and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

Knowledge of Agile and DevOps practices is a plus.

Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, OmniStudio Consultant or Developer, Salesforce Developer).

Experience with CI/CD tools and automation (GitHub Actions, Salesforce DX, CumulusCI, or similar).

Experience creating or contributing to open source projects, including documentation and community-facing release packaging.

Financial Services Cloud and/or Healthcare Cloud experience.

Demonstrated use of AI tools (Agentforce, Copilot, or others) to improve personal or team productivity.
