RN - Weekend- L&D- Nights

Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Labor and Delivery unit. This position requires a highly skilled professional capable of working in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, focusing on high-risk deliveries and providing exceptional care to newborns and mothers.
Responsibilities

Function in the role of Baby Nurse during deliveries, continuing care of newborns until transfer to postpartum.
Circulate for deliveries and provide newborn care including administering eye prophylaxis, Vitamin K injections, and performing assessments.
Assist with high-risk deliveries and vaginal deliveries.
Maintain patient safety and adherence to protocols during high-acuity cases.
Implement care in accordance with AWHONN guidelines.
Support midwifery clients, private OBs, and community care clinics.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing, with a preference for candidates with high-risk experience.
Current RN license and strong clinical references.
Required certifications: BLS, NRP; preferred: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, AWHONN Intermediate.
Must pass a clinical review prior to starting the position.
Schedule
This is a night shift position with a 3x12 hour schedule (19:00 - 07:30). Candidates will work every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
