In this role, you’ll use your attention to detail and basic math and computer skills to ensure our products meet the highest standards. Working alongside experienced professionals, you’ll learn inspection procedures and grow your expertise, all while making a direct impact on customer satisfaction.**Know and understand specification criteria and perform inspections on parts to ensure they meet specifications.* Understand and be able to complete all documentation requirements for inspections as performed.* Read and understand work instructions to determine procedure for testing.* Perform tasks under direct supervision during the training cycle.* Effectively communicate information at shift change.* Develop and maintain a working knowledge of Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality and Operating Procedures as appropriate.* Ensure the cleanliness and order of inspection and test stations.* Provide the safest possible workplace to our employees by modeling and following all company safety policies, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions immediately to Silfex management. Maintain organization and cleanliness, housekeeping and 5S within work area. High School Diploma or a General Education Degree (GED) required* Minimum of 1 year of previous manufacturing Quality Assurance experience or related experience* Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions* Must possess basic proficiency in operating computers, including navigating software and web-based platform* Work effectively as an individual and in a team environment* Strong attention to detail is required* Quality and safety minded* Good written and verbal communication skills.* Must be able to perform successfully under supervision**Preferred Qualifications:*** Knowledge and understanding of inspection criteria* Strong shop math skills* Microsoft Office experience (specifically Excel)* Knowledge of 5S and Lean manufacturing.**Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.toxic or caustic chemicals and; risk of electrical shock.
