Project Manager (Full Time)

Project Manager
Coordinate with Management and other Stakeholders to implement new or modified products from design concept to production implementation. This includes, but is not limited to, the development and maintenance of requirements documents, schedules, manpower resource requirements and loading charts, budgets, risk, issues, opportunities, and other such management tools for the execution of assigned projects.

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures within aircraft design & manufacturing. Initiate, plan, execute, control and close assigned projects

• Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to project team
• Keep Management and others informed about project status and issues
• Develop and maintain project governing documents;

o Risk, Issues & Opportunity

Create and maintain integrated project schedules including coordination of resources

• Maintains oversight of assigned projects to ensure they remain within scope, schedule and budget parameters
• Track and report cost and schedule performance
• Interface with vendors, ensuring necessary procurement of parts and materials for specific projects
• Administer project databases
• BA/BS in business/STEM field or equivalent
• 2-3 years of project management/coordination experience

General knowledge and skills associated with cross functional coordination in areas of design engineering, methodization, manufacturing planning, production control, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, aircraft fabrication and assembly and quality management, testing and certification functions.

Requires comprehensive knowledge of Windows based computer programs such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.

• Requires moderate physical effort consisting of occasionally lifting and/or moving light to moderately heavy weight material up to 35 lbs.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to both office and plant environments. May be exposed to odors, chemical agents, dust, fumes, gases, sharp objects, hazardous or moving equipment, wet slippery floors, and extremes in temperature and humidity.

• Interacts regularly with various staff and employees, and occasionally with vendors, suppliers, community members and regulatory agency representatives.
• Travel and overtime are required when necessary.

Supports all operational excellence initiatives ensuring full participation in all department services, continuous improvement efforts, and training programs.

Comply with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices.

• Maintains compliance with company safety policies and procedures, OSHA, and EPA regulations including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), behaviors, physical space and hazardous waste disposal procedures.
• Knowledgeable in regard to the safety policies and procedures of the Company as described in the Company safety manual. The employee must adhere to all said policies and procedures while supporting the goals and objectives of the organization and recognize the Company's need to achieve its business objective.

Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills who understands how to develop and maintain external supplier and internal customer relations in both written and oral form.
