Yard Worker - Industrial Manufacturing Location: Harrisburg, NC Pay: $18.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience and shift Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly Shifts: 2nd Shift & 3rd Shift Overtime: Potential overtime available on Saturdays
Position Summary Our client, a leading industrial manufacturing company in Harrisburg, NC, is seeking dependable and hardworking Yard Workers. The ideal candidate will be safety-focused, reliable, and comfortable working in an outdoor industrial environment while handling steel materials and production equipment.
Hand-wire steel parts to racks for processing
Lift, move, hang, and remove steel parts throughout the production process
Use hand tools and power tools to prepare and finish steel materials
Qualifications Previous experience in construction, or steel industrial environment
Ability to safely lift, move, and handle steel materials
Ability to work outdoors and around industrial equipment
Forklift, overhead crane, or steel-handling experience is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position requires working in a physically demanding industrial environment that may include: Outdoor weather conditions Heat, fumes, chemicals, and wet conditions Moving mechanical equipment Uneven terrain and industrial areas Standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
