We are looking for a talented, dependable, and customer-focused Cook who takes pride in preparing fresh, high-quality meals while helping create an outstanding dining experience for the seniors we proudly serve.

What You'll Do

As a Cook, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional meals while maintaining the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Your responsibilities include:

Preparing delicious, nutritious meals following recipes and Signature Dining standards

Following production sheets to ensure meals are prepared efficiently and accurately

Cooking food to proper temperatures while maintaining freshness and presentation

Ensuring all meals are served with consistency, quality, and attention to detail

Practicing safe food handling and maintaining excellent sanitation standards

Properly storing, labeling, dating, and rotating food products

Completing meal production records accurately

Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas

Assisting with deep cleaning projects and maintaining a clean, organized kitchen

Supporting fellow culinary team members to ensure exceptional service every day

Serving as a shift leader for the kitchen when needed in the absence of the Director of Signature Dining or Sous Chef

Qualifications

Preferred:

At least one year of food service experience

Previous experience in restaurants, hotels, country clubs, healthcare, or senior living communities

Required:

Strong customer service skills and commitment to excellence

Ability to read recipes, production sheets, and communicate effectively in English

Current Food Handler Certification (or ability to obtain)

Current CPR & First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain)

Annual continuing education as required

Ability to perform essential job duties with or without reasonable accommodation
