Shift: Any 4 8-hour shifts

Hours per Shift: 8 hours

Active RN license

Certifications: Relevant certifications in pediatric nursing and PACU care required

Work Schedule: 2 shifts of 8 hours and 2 shifts of 10 hours per week. PACU shift schedules Monday through Friday with start times fluctuating between 7:30 AM and 8:30 AM. Phase 1 care involves 1 on 1 nursing with patients and monitoring every 15 minutes. Phase 2 care may involve 1 on 1 or 1 RN to 4 patients in Stepdown with monitoring at least every hour to prepare for discharge. Communication skills are essential for collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgeons regarding medication orders, discharge instructions, wound issues, and radiology orders.
