Job Overview
AIMS Locum Tenens is seeking a qualified Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center, TX . The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications, reviewing medication therapy, counseling patients, collaborating with healthcare providers, supervising pharmacy technicians, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, DHA, and military pharmacy regulations.
Qualifications:
Degree
~ Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.).

Education
~ Graduate from a college or university accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) .

Certification
~ Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification - Active

Experience
~ Minimum 1,500–2,000 hours of pharmacy experience , including at least 500 hours in a retail or institutional pharmacy , completed within the last two years after training.

Licensure
Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Pharmacist in any U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia.
License must remain current and in good standing throughout the duration of employment.
Schedule
Full-time with 40 hours per week
Rotating 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts as Hospital operates 24/7
Days, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and training holidays may be required.
Overtime authorized only when required to support mission needs or continuity of patient care.
Immunization Requirements
Must meet all DHA/CRDAMC occupational health requirements, including required immunizations and annual health screenings prior to and during employment.
Security Requirements
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain required background clearance, Common Access Card (CAC), and complete all mandatory DHA/Army security and HIPAA training.
