Inventory Planning and Purchasing Buyer

Location: Duarte, CA
Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $26.00-$31.00/hour DOE
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Buyer II to support manufacturing operations by purchasing raw materials, components, equipment, and services. This role is responsible for managing suppliers, issuing purchase orders, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring materials are delivered on time to support production.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage assigned suppliers and purchase orders from requisition through receipt.
Monitor deliveries and expedite orders to prevent production delays.
Prepare RFQs, evaluate supplier quotes, and recommend sourcing decisions.
Resolve pricing, delivery, quality, and invoice discrepancies.
Maintain inventory levels using ERP/MRP systems.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse teams.
Monitor supplier performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Maintain accurate purchasing records and support ISO/AS9100 quality standards.
Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (JobBOSS preferred).
• Strong supplier management, purchasing, and inventory control experience.
• Aerospace or precision manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
