Procurement Specialist

Performs daily procurement activity (placing PO’s and maintaining PO documentation) by sourcing suppliers for products or services and performing appropriate analysis to meet desired cost and schedule requirements in support of manufacturing and program activities.

Addresses quality concerns in collaboration with Quality Assurance, Program Engineering and/or Operations Engineering.

Participates in and at times hosts meetings to provide material updates in support of assigned programs.

Coordinates quality issues with suppliers as required and manages supplier returns.

S. security clearance.

Briefs management on the status and issues affecting program cost and schedule performance.

Up to 20% travel may be required.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field. In lieu of a degree, 6+ years of prior procurement experience required.

Experience working and interfacing with suppliers, manufacturing, inventory management, quality, and engineering.
