Requirements

• License: Registered Nurse (RN) in the state
• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience: Minimum 1 year recent Telemetry experience
• Skills: Experience with TR Band's straight from procedure, experience with cardiac drips including heparin, butamol, lasix, and cardizem, experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process
• EMR: Familiarity with EPIC

Roles & Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about their conditions and care plans.
• Document all care and patient interactions accurately in the patient's medical record.
• Participate in patient safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Compliance / Notes

• Orientation includes the first two days at the main campus.
• Pre-employment background checks and credentialing required.
• Facility operates a nicotine-free environment.
