Provides clinical patient care by administering appropriate treatment. Provides instruction (teaching) to patients and/or family members.

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.

Valid State of Oklahoma Licensure in Physical Therapist Assistant

Work Experience: 0 - 6 months related experience.

Ability to use computers, basic computer knowledge, as needed for data input and reporting. Accurately reflects time spent and procedures performed as well as equipment issued in patient charges. Teaches patient/family member proper use of equipment issued. Follows set guidelines for daily operations. Assists with PT volunteers and RPTA students as requested by (in-charge) therapist. Decision Making: Independent judgment in making minor decisions where alternatives are limited and standard policies/protocols have been established.

Works directly with patients and/or customers. Works with internal customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with external customers via telephone or face to face interaction. Works with other healthcare professionals and staff.
