We are looking for ambitious and exceptional people to join our (relatively small) team to help us build the next generation of financial markets.

Kalshi is looking for someone to own our state-level regulatory and legislative strategy across the Western US. You'll be the person on the ground in your region, building relationships with representatives and regulators, understanding legislative developments, and moving the ball forward in some of our most complex and high-value states. Own state policy strategy across your region: tracking the legislative calendar, identifying opportunities, and sequencing campaigns

Monitor regulatory developments and identify initiatives that affect Kalshi

Draft and shape the policy language

Travel to priority states and be in the room when it matters

Experience running state-level government affairs campaigns or working inside state government or an Attorney General's office -- ideally in a novel or contested regulatory environment

Deep familiarity with the political landscape of the Western US -- California's regulatory complexity, the Pacific Northwest's legislative dynamics, and the varied politics across mountain and island states

Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to create structure where there isn't any

Strong instincts on policy language

Willingness to travel and be hands‑on when it counts
