Location: Erie Tool Shop
Direct Report: Tooling Support Technician
Ensure the consistent collection, inspection, packaging, and documentation of parts produced from assigned press(es), while maintaining product quality, safety compliance, and adherence to ISO, GMP, and company standards.
Maintain consistent collection and packaging of parts from assigned press(es).
Perform and document hourly quality checks to ensure product conformance.
Ensure accurate completion of all production-related documentation, including quality checks, scrap, and downtime.
Immediately communicate any quality or machine issues to the Shift Lead.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation throughout the shift.
Accurately record and report required production information.
Identify and segregate non-conforming (defective) parts.
Authority to stop production and notify the Shift Lead when defective parts are identified.
Authority to escalate machine or process concerns that may impact quality or safety.
Authority to reject non-conforming product according to established quality standards.
Collect parts from press machines and package them efficiently and correctly.
Conduct hourly quality inspections and document results.
Review parts for defects and differentiate between acceptable and non-acceptable product.
Monitor production output and report downtime and scrap.
Maintain workstation organization and cleanliness throughout the shift.
Communicate effectively with the Shift Lead and team members regarding issues or abnormalities.
Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Physical ability to stand for extended periods (12-hour shifts).
Prior plastics manufacturing experience
High school diploma or equivalent
