Role and Responsibilities
- Must learn metal finishes
- Read and layout screw holes with a tape measure to 1/32”
- Punching screw holes on a linear rail with air over hydraulic punches
- Deburring sheared edges of kickplates and armor plates of different metal finishes on abrasive wheel
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, most of the parts are in the 2#-5# range
- Read work orders and templates
- Other shop tasks assigned by the Shop Manager
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Skills
- Ability to read a tape measure and use hand tools as well as other necessary equipment to perform the essential functions of this position.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees.
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- First Shift M-F 8 AM - 4:30 PM
