Machinist

Adecco is currently assisting a local client in their search to fill a dependable and detail-oriented Machinist in Erie PA. This role is responsible for operating CNC equipment to produce high-quality products in a fast-paced shop environment. Apply Now if you meet the qualifications listed below!

Responsibilities for this Machinist job include:

• Set up and operate various machinery
  
  
• Load materials and verify correct program selection
  
  
• Monitor machine performance to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  
  
• Perform tool changes and basic machine adjustments
  
  
• Use precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, thread and pin gages to verify part dimensions.
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure optimal performances are maintained.
  
  
• Read and interpret shop drawings, cut lists, and production files
  
  
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
  
  
• Meet daily production goals and deadlines
  
  
• Other duties as required

Qualifications:

• 1+ year CNC machine operation experience preferred
  
  
• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints
  
  
• Basic understanding of G-code or CNC programming is a plus
  
  
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  
  
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
