We are seeking a skilled and versatile CNC Machinist to join our team in Erie, PA. This role is ideal for a hands-on machinist who can help keep multiple machines running efficiently, support wire EDM and 6-axis machining operations, and contribute to equipment development and continuous improvement efforts.

The right candidate will be mechanically inclined, adaptable, and willing to wear multiple hats in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines including 6-axis equipment
• Support and maintain wire EDM operations
• Troubleshoot machining issues to minimize downtime and keep production moving
• Perform machine adjustments, tooling changes, and process optimization
• Assist with R&D initiatives, including equipment improvements and secondary operations
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency
• Maintain quality standards and perform inspections as needed
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
• Experience with 6-axis CNC machines
• Wire EDM experience strongly preferred
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and machining issues independently
• Experience with setup and operation (programming experience is a plus but not required)
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities
