Location: Los Angeles, CA (on-site) Pay Range: $17.81 $20 per hour (plus tips, commensurate with experience) Employment Type: Full-time / Part-time (Non-exempt, hourly; tipped position under CA Wage Order 5)

About the Role

We're seeking a Server who is detail-oriented, gracious under pressure, and dedicated to providing guests with an unforgettable dining experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a refined, fast-paced environment and understands the balance between efficiency and genuine hospitality.

You will:

Execute Sushi Nakazawa's steps of service with precision and consistency across the dining room and sushi counter

Provide thoughtful and knowledgeable guidance on menu items, beverage pairings, and special offerings

Collaborate closely with Captains, Runners, and the Culinary team to ensure seamless service

Maintain composure and professionalism in a high-volume, high-touch environment

Follow LA County Health Department and Company standards for safety, sanitation, and presentation

Embody Sushi Nakazawa's culture of respect, teamwork, and attention to detail

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of fine-dining service experience in a similar caliber concept
• Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine, sake, and wine a plus
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills
• Ability to multitask and anticipate guest needs
• Availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
• Polished, professional presentation and a collaborative mindset
