Full-time, hospital-employed Cardiology opportunity

Advanced Practice Provider support

Established cardiovascular program with strong referral network

Vascular and Thoracic Surgeon on staff

Direct transfer relationship with Duke University Health System

Large underserved service area of approximately 200,000 residents with significant growth potential

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient cardiovascular care

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular disease

Interpret non-invasive cardiac testing and imaging

Collaborate with cardiovascular surgeons, hospitalists, primary care providers, and Advanced Practice Providers

Participate in the shared call schedule

Deliver compassionate, evidence-based, patient-centered cardiovascular care

Support continued growth of the cardiovascular service line

Requirements

MD or DO

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease

Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship

Eligible for Virginia medical licensure

Strong commitment to collaborative, patient-centered cardiovascular care
