Requirements Reason for the need? W2 Peds physician resigned. When would the provider need to start? As soon as possible/credentialed Need Duration? Ongoing What systems would the provider be interfacing with other than Meditech? Medaxion Qgenda Patient Keeper etc? Expanse there will be some required modules in HealthStream as well. Candidate Parameters Which Board status will be considered? BE/BC BC Any specific fellowships/certifications/procedures/competencies we are looking for? Fellowship in pediatric anesthesiology Credentialing Will MSO offer emergency privs or temps? We do have the option to request emergency or temps when deemed necessary. This remains at the discretion of the CEO/CMO of the hospital. Orientation done on first day or prior? Able to do remotely? There is 1.5-hr hospital orientation that must be completed first and can be done virtually or in-person. Next we schedule provider for an orientation day to orient with the anesthesia team. Depending on availability with the hospital training team we may be able to do the hospital training and orientation with the anesthesia team on the same day. Hospital/unit questions Number of beds? 466 Trauma center? Yes Types of cases? General cases on kids 2 days to 2 years old. Hernias pyloric stenosis ENT. What does the support staff look like techs nursing mid-levels etc.? We have CRNAs that are typically supervised at a 1:4 max ratio. Describe the daily shift requirements Shift Times Weekend shifts 24hr Call Coverage In house and/or beeper call Weekday/Weeknight call coverage needed: Typical shift will be 7a-3:30pbut could be 7a-5p or 7a-7p. No weekends nights 24hr call in-house or beeper call. Care Team Model Y/N: Yes Call Coverage Required Y/N: No In-House No Beeper No Would physician work in a Supervisory only capacity or expected to work own cases? Both
