Level I Trauma Center | Hospital Setting | Inpatient Adult Anesthesia Support

Rhino Medical is seeking an anesthesiologist for ongoing locum tenens support at a Level I Trauma Center in Richmond, VA. This role involves inpatient anesthesia services for adult patients, supporting cardiac procedures, obstetric C-sections, endoscopy, electrophysiology labs, and interventional radiology with support from CRNA staff. The assignment includes nights, weekends, and in-house call shifts, with cross-credentialing at multiple hospital sites.

This opportunity offers the flexibility of open scheduling, requiring providers to work in-house call coverage from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m., night shifts, and weekend day shifts. The hospital features multiple ORs, advanced anesthesia support, and the use of the Medaxion EMR system, supporting a comprehensive inpatient anesthesia practice.

Candidates must hold an active Virginia medical license, DEA registration, and be Board Certified in Anesthesiology with ongoing MOC participation. Previous experience with inpatient anesthesia, cardiac, OB (C-section), endoscopy, EP lab, or interventional radiology procedures is preferred. Willingness to work call shifts and cross-credentialing at hospital sites is required.
