Contract | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 44-bed Medical Surgical unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5, with the possibility of 1:6
Monitor telemetry patients in coordination with a dedicated telemetry unit
Utilize CNA support staff and collaborate with nurse aides to deliver comprehensive patient care
Float as needed to acute care, cardiology, and the emergency department for acute care patient holds
Document and manage patient records using Meditech EMR
Maintain compliance with all BLS (AHA) and NIHSS (AHA) certification requirements throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia
BLS certification required – must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
NIHSS certification required – must be issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required
At least 1 prior travel assignment required
Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility (as indicated on a valid driver's license) to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred but not required
Prior Medical Surgical travel nursing experience
Comfort with floating to multiple units including acute care and cardiology settings
