Graduate Nurse - EVENING SHIFT - Emergency Nursing

End Date: 10/31/2025 will extend after one month
Schedule: Monday - Saturday, 5:00 PM - 1:30 AM

Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Temporary Registered Nurse (RN) to provide coverage while our regular nurse is on leave. This role is expected to last for at least one month , with the possibility of extension or permanent placement , either in the same shift or moving to 1st shift depending on performance and department needs.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
Perform health assessments and screening tests (drug/alcohol testing, spirometry, audiometry)
Maintain OSHA, state, and employee health records with a strong emphasis on confidentiality
Participate in plant safety and ergonomic programs
Support health promotion , education , and training initiatives
Assist in identifying and supporting workers' compensation cases, including documentation and file maintenance
Collaborate with external clinics and hospitals as needed

Required Qualifications:
Education: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
Licensure: Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska
Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in occupational health nursing or a related field preferred
Technical Skills:
Basic computer proficiency
Experience with electronic medical documentation systems

Soft Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
