Phlebotomist/Receptionist - Part Time

Part-Time Receptionist / Phlebotomist The Practice is looking for a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented Part-Time Receptionist / Phlebotomist to join our team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with patients and can confidently balance front-desk responsibilities with phlebotomy duties.
Responsibilities Greet patients in a warm and professional manner
Answer phones, schedule appointments, and assist with patient check-in/check-out
Verify patient information and insurance as needed
Process and follow up on prior authorizations for medications, procedures, and services
Coordinate, process and track patient referrals , including obtaining required insurance authorizations and documentation
Collect and process payments
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Perform venipuncture and specimen collection accurately and safely
Properly label, handle, and prepare specimens for processing
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception and clinical area
Maintain patient confidentiality and follow all applicable safety and privacy guidelines
Assist the clinical team with additional administrative duties as needed
Qualifications Previous phlebotomy and/or medical office experience preferred
Phlebotomy certification preferred/required, as applicable
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Comfortable interacting with patients of all ages
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Comfortable using computers and electronic medical/appointment systems
Schedule & Compensation Part-time: 24-30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Pay: Competitive based on experience
