L Capital's Diligence & Advisory business leverages a global executive network to provide lead private equity sponsors with valuable "executive-led" deal insights across the entire investment lifecycle. Such services include deal origination, sector development, diligence support, and leadership acceleration.

The Research Associate is an integral part of the Diligence & Advisory team at L Capital. This individual will lead research on pre-deal projects with our Private Equity clients. They will conduct in-depth market analysis to map sector/company ecosystems, identify relevant targets and candidates, and advise/contribute to project strategy. This proprietary research and candidate communication will ultimately inform L Capital's investment decisions.

Manage multiple research projects with changing priorities
Develop and execute sourcing strategies via desktop research to identify appropriate company targets and candidates
Maintain project records, client reports with KPIs, and vendor management
Clearly and effectively communicate with key stakeholders to help inform investment decisions, grow the L Capital portfolio, and scale the Diligence & Advisory business
Bachelor's degree from an accredited undergraduate institution required

• 2-3 years' experience in business services required - B2B consulting experience, market research, talent sourcing/research, or recruiting experience preferred; priority given to candidates with software/tech, industrial, manufacturing, business services, CPG, and healthcare market experience
• Exposure to the financial services industry preferred – private equity, investment banking, venture capital, and buyside and sell side acquisition. Experience managing and executing projects simultaneously with successful ability to course-change and iterate
• Track record of "original thinking" - ability to problem solve on the fly and push through project obstacles
