Water Resources Engineer
HDR is an employee‑owned company committed to inclusion and innovation.
Provide project engineering and task management for hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling and design; conduct research, prepare technical reports, and lead design calculations and engineering plans for detention facilities, storm drains, flood control facilities and other hydraulic structures.
Conduct water resources planning, develop formulation and concept development, and create planning documentation.
Assist in water resources permitting efforts.
Minimum of 3 years experience in water resources engineering projects
Experience with HEC‑1, HEC‑HMS, HEC‑RAS, GEO‑RAS and storm drain system analysis
Preference given to local candidates
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent field
Previous experience in water resources engineering projects
