Schedule
Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, working 3x12 hour shifts.
Job Description
The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is a mixed unit providing care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions. As a PICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care to critically ill pediatric patients, including support for those requiring ECMO and CRRT therapy.
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care for pediatric patients in a mixed ICU and Stepdown unit.
Monitor and assess patient's conditions, implementing care plans accordingly.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
Support families and patients through education and emotional support.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of PICU nursing experience required.
Current SC or Multi-State RN license required.
BLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required.
Experience with ECMO and CRRT is preferred.
