Evidation Health is seeking a Product Designer. We are a team of mission-driven experts in precision medicine, machine learning, behavioral economics, health outcomes research, and design. We validate the economic and clinical utility of new digital health technologies and enable regular people to participate in finding the best tools to help make managing health just a little easier for everyone.

Our engineering team is committed to using the best tools for the job, including React, Python, Ruby on Rails, RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, and Semaphore CI. We need best-in-class Systems Administrators to help us build new products and scale our existing offerings to the world.

Resolve emergencies and sudden issues in tandem with our DevOps person.

Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.

Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.

Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities.

Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization.

Provide basic technical support to users regarding their workstations (e.g., VPN configuration, AntiVirus installation).

Help employees with onboarding and account provisioning. Manage groups and email lists for existing employees in our Google Apps domain.

Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, occasionally with little advanced notice.

Knowledge of the fundamentals of Unix administration (Linux-specific preferred).

Comfortable at the command line in addition to a GUI or web interface.

IT Security or Compliance experience is a plus.

Familiarity with Google Apps or another groupware solution a plus.

AWS knowledge is a plus.
