Job Summary Responsible for managing and executing purchasing activities specifically tailored to support our radiator manufacturing operations. This role requires a thorough understanding of supply chain management, vendor relations, and inventory control to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and components.

Responsibilities Source and procure raw materials, components, and services required for radiator manufacturing, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to secure favorable contract conditions.

Collaborate closely with engineering, production, sales, and quality assurance teams to understand material specifications and project timelines.

Monitor supplier performance, maintain strong vendor relationships, and conduct regular evaluations to ensure reliability and quality.

Maintain accurate purchasing records, prepare purchase orders, and track deliveries to optimize inventory levels and minimize production downtime.

Analyze market trends and material costs to recommend cost saving initiatives and identify alternative sourcing options.

Ensure all procurement activities comply with legal, ethical, and company policies, including California state regulations.

Support internal audits and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement process.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of purchasing or procurement experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry.

Strong knowledge of procurement principles, contract negotiation, and vendor management.

Familiarity with radiator manufacturing processes and materials is a plus.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and purchasing/procurement software systems.

Ability to analyze data and make informed purchasing decisions under tight deadlines.

Knowledge of relevant California state laws and regulations affecting procurement activities.
