So read on, and consider a rewarding career with Sonic Automotive, Inc.Job DescriptionSummaryThe Lube Technician, will be responsible for performing quick service and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid top-offs for customer vehicles.Conduct tire inspections, including patching tires and checking air pressure.Inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed.Ensure vehicle fluids (brake, transmission, coolant, etc.) are at proper levels.Perform quick inspections of belts, hoses, and other basic vehicle components.Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to dealership and industry standards.Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts.Follow all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.Qualifications1+ years of experience as an Express Technician, Lube Technician, or technician helper in an automobile or quick service shop.Basic automotive repair and maintenance knowledge.Must have own set of tools (Socket sets, hand tools, impact tools)Valid driver's license and a good driving record.All applicants must be authorized to work in the USAAll applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver licenseAdditional InformationCompensation (Flat-Rate: Hourly): $18.00 / hourSchedule: FULL-TIMESundays Always OffSaturday Availability RequiredPerks & Benefits:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance401(k) with Company MatchPaid Time Off that Increases with TenureClosed on Thanksgiving & ChristmasEmployee Pricing on Vehicles, Parts & ServiceFree & Discounted Gym Membership OptionsExclusive Travel Discounts on Hotels, Flights & RentalsCareer Growth within a Fortune 500 CompanyAll your information will be kept confidential in accordance with EEO guidelinesJob LocationI'm interested Privacy Notice
