Carilion Clinic is seeking an enthusiastic General Cardiologist to join their team in Rocky Mount, VA. This role involves practicing within Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital and collaborating with established primary care practices. The successful applicant will also be supported by a large academic cardiology practice at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital. Practice Info
The cardiology practice is located within Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital, a 37-bed facility.
Works closely with two well-established primary care practices, including 7 physicians and 3 nurse practitioners.
Supported by a large academic cardiology practice at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital, a 703-bed acute-care academic medical center.
The hospital has an Emergency Room that is home to Lifeguard11, Carilion Clinic's Emergency Air Medical Transport.
Services available at CFMH include stress testing (treadmill, nuclear SPECT, stress echo), echocardiography (2D/3D TEE and TTE), nuclear studies, cardioversions, Holter and event monitoring, pacemaker (temporary and permanent), cardiac rehab, and vascular ultrasound.

Responsibilities
~ Help support a Carilion-employed general cardiologist in nearby Martinsville, VA during vacation and other times away.

Compensation
Min Starting Salary: $520,000
Max Starting Salary: $748,056
Eligible to participate in the Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus compensation programs to improve the minimum salary
Historical averages of Tier 1 and Tier 2 bonus earnings are included in the maximum salary
Incentive Pay: Two Tier Bonus Plan
Relocation Allowance up to $10,000
