Cook - Job Responsibil ities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
• Ensure all equipment is used safely and according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Manage portion sizes and presentation to ensure consistency.
• Assist in training junior kitchen staff and new team members.
• Handle and store food products in compliance with food safety standards.
• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.

Cook - Job Requirements

• Proven experience as a cook or relevant role
• Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures
• Familiarity with industry best practices
• Ability to follow all sanitation procedures
• Ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
