Telecom Auditor- Remote

USAC’s target compensation range for a new hire into this position is $60,000 - $85,000 USD per year. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual performance bonus. Plan and perform compliance, financial, and operational audits in accordance with the Institute of Internal Audit (IIA) and other applicable audit standards.

Prepare clear and concise audit work papers, reports, and other communications to document audit procedures performed and exceptions noted.

Perform self-review of work paper documentation for quality assurance purposes.

Provide value-adding recommendations for audit findings identified.

Communicate audit results, in oral or written format, to the auditee, USAC management and/or the Audit Committee.

Maintain cordial professional relationships with auditees across divisions to facilitate progress of audits.

Pursue professional development opportunities, including external and internal training and professional association memberships, and certifications and share information with co-workers to contribute to the growth and development of the Audit and Assurance Division.

Provide assistance for investigations, strategic initiatives, divisional special projects and any other assigned projects as needed.

The successful candidate will excel at operating in a diverse and fluid environment and will be crucial for the success of the audit division.

Bachelor Degree and/or relevant technical training and certifications. Accounting Degree Preferred. A combination of education, experience, and training that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the work may be considered.

Microsoft Excel, Visio and MS Project.

Strong project management skills and experience with a proven history of results.

Ability to travel out of town on a periodic, as-needed basis.
