2nd Shift Pick/Packer 2Nesco Resource is looking for a 2nd Shift Pick/Packer 2 located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.Shift: Monday-Friday 3:30PM-12AMPay: $23/HourKey ResponsibilitiesPick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately using warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.Verify products and quantities against order requirements and shipping documentation.Package materials securely and apply appropriate labels and shipping paperwork.Process domestic and international shipments while following customer-specific instructions.Operate material handling equipment to transport products throughout the warehouse.Utilize warehouse and shipping software to print documents, create labels, confirm orders, and generate tracking information.Handle complex shipments, including international and hazardous material orders when applicable.Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy initiatives.Support shipping, receiving, logistics, and other warehouse operations as needed.Assist with workload distribution and team support when required.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Cross-train and provide support in additional warehouse departments.QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.Minimum of 2 years of experience in picking, packing, shipping, or warehouse operations.Experience with international shipping processes is a plus.Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment.Comfortable using computers, scanners, label printers, and warehouse management systems.Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Ability to lift up to 44 lbs. regularly throughout the shift.Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
