CNC Machinist - Aerospace Manufacturing - 1st Shift

Shift: 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-4:00pm (schedule flexibility available)

Why This Role Exists Surface Engineering supports some of the most demanding precision manufacturing applications in the semiconductor industry. While the company has expanded into more advanced milling and multi-axis machining, turning remains a critical part of production and overall workflow.
This role exists because Surface Engineering continues to grow and needs a disciplined machinist capable of setting up and operating precision turning equipment while maintaining extremely tight tolerances.
Surface Engineering machines highly complex precision components where process consistency and attention to detail matter every day. Their team routinely adjusts parts within tenths and works with advanced inspection equipment and highly refined manufacturing processes.

Set up and operate 2-axis CNC lathes
Perform first-article and in-process inspection
Work closely with quality and engineering teams
Follow established manufacturing processes and procedures
Machines, Controls & Software You'll work with equipment such as:
Precision CNC turning centers
Diamond turning equipment
Multi-axis turning equipment throughout the facility
Robot programming exposure
Inspection Equipment:
Strong quality department support

Materials You'll Work With Aluminum (~75%)
What We're Looking For Required: 3+ years of CNC lathe experience
Experience with setup and operation responsibilities
Comfortable performing in-process inspections
Robot programming exposure
Semiconductor, medical, aerospace, or precision manufacturing background
