Location: This is an on-site opportunity based in Canfield, Ohio, offering a strong professional home in the greater Youngstown market with access to a well-established regional business community.
Note: Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Ohio and should bring 5+ years of transactional attorney experience. Draft, review, negotiate, and revise a wide range of corporate and commercial agreements.
Advise clients on business transactions, entity formation, governance, contract matters, and general corporate legal needs.
Support mergers, acquisitions, business succession matters, commercial transactions, and other deal-related work.
Conduct legal research, review due diligence materials, and help identify practical legal and business risks.
Prepare closing documents, resolutions, operating agreements, purchase agreements, and related corporate documentation.
Manage multiple transactional matters, deadlines, and client priorities with strong attention to detail and sound legal judgment.
Build trusted client relationships through responsive communication, practical advice, and high-quality work product.
Ohio law license required.
- 5+ years of transactional attorney experience required.
- Experience with corporate law, commercial contracts, business transactions, entity formation, governance, mergers and acquisitions, or related transactional matters.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, and client communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a professional law firm environment.
- Detail-oriented, business-minded, organized, and able to work collaboratively with attorneys, staff, and clients.
