Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry
Conduct BSSR and hourly rounding
Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and EKG
Monitor telemetry readings and respond as necessary
Titrate drips including pressors, insulin, and anticoagulants
Administer critical patient care interventions such as cardioversions
Utilize critical thinking and time management skills efficiently
Requirements of the RN - Telemetry
Current BLS and ACLS certification
Experience in Telemetry, particularly with COPD, Pneumonia, AFib RVR, DKA, CIWA, Cardio
Proficient in tele monitoring and self-reading telemetry strips
Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
