We're hiring an experienced Liability Desk Adjuster to handle third-party claims end-to-end—coverage, liability evaluation, damages assessment, negotiation, and resolution. You will move files with urgency, make sound, defensible decisions, and own the customer experience without hand-holding.

Manage a caseload of liability claims from FNOL to closure with accuracy, urgency, and empathy.

Analyze coverage against policy forms/endorsements; draft clear, defensible coverage positions and reservation/denial letters.

Negotiate fair, timely settlements consistent with facts, policy, and venue; document rationale.

Coordinate vendors and experts (field, medical, biomech, surveillance) with precise instructions and accountability.

Manage litigated matters with panel counsel—strategy, discovery, budgets, reporting, and resolution planning.

Maintain meticulous notes, diary control, SLA compliance, and regulatory adherence.

Liability adjusting experience required handling GL/BI/PD claims.

Proven end-to-end file ownership: investigation, coverage analysis, valuation, negotiation, and closure.

Strong writing and negotiation skills; comfortable delivering hard news respectfully.

Working knowledge of claim regulations, time limits, and Unfair Claims Practices.

Technically diligent: disciplined diary, clean documentation, accurate data.
