The Software Engineer is responsible for software development and addressing current and emerging needs for applications.

Utilize domain knowledge and hands-on experience to develop and implement software programs.
Create, maintain, and improve the performance of existing software code.
Write and update software code and databases.
Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization.
Write test scripts to use in test-driven development and agile software development environment.
Build automated procedures, in addition to functional code, to ensure continuous integration and continuous delivery of software.
Solve software development and engineering problems and recommend improvements to existing software programs.
Work effectively with peers and customer software coding teams.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent technical degree
Entry-level technical contributor; follows standard processes and works under supervision

• Failure to achieve results typically requires allocation of additional resources and may result in additional financial expense
• Work is defined by others within smaller, less complex projects/assignments and generally more limited in scope

Problems are routine, drawing from standard procedures and basic analysis, but may require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures
