Draw blood samples from patients while following established safety and procedural standards

Prepare specimens for laboratory testing, ensuring correct labeling and documentation

Explain procedures to patients and create a comfortable environment to foster trust and confidence

Maintain accurate records and documentation of all collection activities

Perform specimen collection in various settings, including patient service centers and in-office locations

Adhere to all policies and procedures related to safety, confidentiality, and excellence

Work independently and demonstrate leadership behaviors to promote process excellence

Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections

Effective communication and customer service skills

Proficiency in keyboard/data entry

High school diploma or equivalent required; medical assistant or paramedic training preferred

• Phlebotomy certification preferred, especially for roles in California, Nevada, and Washington
• 1-3 years of phlebotomy experience required, including pediatric and geriatric collections
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
• Completion of training at various locations may be required based on trainer availability
