Buyer - Manufacturing and Supply Chain Purchasing

Piper Companies is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join a leading medical device manufacturing organization in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania . The Procurement Specialist will play a critical role in supporting supply chain operations by ensuring materials are procured efficiently and delivered on time to support production and sales demand in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.

Responsibilities of the Procurement Specialist:

Manage purchase orders from creation through completion, ensuring materials and services meet production and sales demands.

Partner with suppliers to maintain delivery schedules, resolve discrepancies, and proactively mitigate supply chain risks.

Review and analyze purchase requisitions to support On‑Time‑In‑Full delivery performance across product lines.

Collaborate cross‑functionally with Planning, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

Perform cost and volume analysis to support strategic sourcing decisions and inventory optimization.

Qualifications of the Procurement Specialist:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field (required).

1+ year of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain, including internships or early career roles.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and pivot tables.
