Able to travel nationwide for 13‑week assignments, flexible to travel the country and work in various settings.

Assess, develop, and deliver physical therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation.

Implement individualized therapy programs designed to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance.

Instruct, educate, and train patients and caregivers in essential skills to promote independence and productivity, reducing or correcting pathology.

Direct activities to promote and maintain health.

Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants, temporary licensees, students, and support personnel in accordance with state licensure requirements and professional standards.

Ensure effective and efficient delivery of rehab services; adhere to established plan of care, schedule, and timely documentation.

Attend and contribute to patient care, staffing conferences, and other related meetings.

Consult with rehabilitation team members to select most appropriate therapeutic regimens consistent with patient needs and capabilities.

Adapt program and/or plan of care according to individual patient needs.

Promote a safe environment and enforce elimination of fire and safety hazards.

Order supplies and equipment as necessary; clean, maintain, identify, and report equipment repairs.

Put patient service first: ensure patients and families receive highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere.

Screen, examine, and evaluate patients, including history, systems review, appropriate tests and measures, synthesize information, and interpret findings to establish diagnosis, identify impairments, determine predicted improvement, and design plan of care.

Therapeutic exercise - aerobic capacity, balance coordination, agility training, body mechanics and postural stabilization, flexibility exercises, gait and locomotion training, neuromotor development training, relaxation, strength, power, and endurance training.

Functional training.

Manual therapy.

Use of electrotherapeutic, physical agent, and mechanical modalities.

train patients in use of orthotics and prosthetics.

Select appropriate activities suited to individual’s physical, mental capacity, intelligence level, and interest.

Valid Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or proof of license and eligibility.

Master’s degree in Physical Therapy, or

Master’s degree in a Physical Therapy related field plus a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, or

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy plus 5 years of progressively responsible PT experience.

Available to travel to and temporarily reside in locations outside of therapist's primary home.

Posted Salary Range: USD $55.00 - $70.00 per hour.
