Job Description
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering compassionate and high-quality patient care that prioritizes the needs of customers and their families. The RN conducts assessments, diagnoses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents patient care in accordance with established policies and standards of professional nursing practice. This role involves accountability for the quality of nursing services provided and includes efforts to define, implement, and enhance practice standards and the overall care environment, while promoting exceptional patient experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and document patient care needs and outcomes.
Develop and implement nursing care plans that meet individual patient needs.
Evaluate patient responses to treatments and make necessary adjustments to care plans.
Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health issues and care plans.
Demonstrate a commitment to teamwork and collaboration across various healthcare disciplines.
Float to Med Surg on a regular basis as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of critical care and ICU experience.
At least 1 year of travel nursing experience.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or ARC.
Trained in Med Surg and Telemetry.
Proficiency in intravenous (IV) insertion.
Experience with adult patient populations.
Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system.
A temporary Minnesota nursing license accepted if a permanent license application has been submitted.

Work Schedule
This position requires availability for 12-hour shifts from 0700 to 1930 and 1900 to 0730, with a 36-hour guarantee. Weekend work is required every other weekend.
