This role is responsible for capturing high-quality diagnostic images, documenting findings, and communicating results to the interpreting physician in an ambulatory clinic setting.What You'll DoPerform ultrasound exams based on provider orders and patient historyCapture, evaluate, and document anatomical and diagnostic informationPrepare preliminary findings within scope of practice for physician reviewCommunicate exam results clearly with interpreting physiciansMaintain daily workflow, logs, and required documentationCalibrate equipment and complete quality control checksPrepare exam rooms and supplies for proceduresUse prior imaging, labs, and medical history to optimize examsAdjust exams and equipment settings for individual patient needsIdentify normal vs. abnormal findings within licensure scopeFollow department protocols and safety standardsPerform other duties as assignedRequired QualificationsEducationGraduate of an accredited Ultrasound Sonography program or equivalent education/experience required for certificationExperienceMinimum 2 years of diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred (acute care or clinic setting)Certifications & CredentialsRequired at Hire:ARRT (Sonography) orARDMS (OB/GYN and Abdomen)Basic Life Support (BLS)Required Within 1 Year:ARDMS RVT orARRT Vascular SonographySkills & AbilitiesStrong knowledge of ultrasound principles and physicsExcellent time management and organization skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCalm, flexible, and patient-focused approachClear verbal and written communicationUnderstanding of age-specific patient needs across the lifespanReady to Join Our Team?If you're a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer looking for a part?time, weekend?only role in a supportive ambulatory clinic environment, we'd love to hear from you.For full consideration of your skills and abilities, please attach a current resume with your application.
