Occupational Health Nurse
Peoria, IL (Onsite - Greater Peoria Area Clinics)
12-Month Contract, option to go internal and convert
Shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm or 3:00pm-11:00pm
We're hiring an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to support Caterpillar's Corporate Medical team across the Greater Peoria area. This is a great opportunity for RNs with clinic, emergency, or occupational health experience looking for an autonomous, impact-driven role.
Provide occupational health nursing services for employee injuries and illnesses
Perform triage, wellness exams, return-to-work evaluations, and drug testing
Lead or respond to on-site medical emergencies
Support disability case management and injury investigations
Conduct OSHA surveillance exams and fit-for-duty evaluations
Partner with HR, EHS, and leadership teams on health & safety initiatives
Assist with wellness programs and employee health education
3-5 years of clinic, ER, or occupational health experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in occupational health nursing
Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, ergonomics, and workplace safety programs
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Float role supporting multiple clinics in the Greater Peoria area
