Description

Assess patients in inpatient or outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment plans
Implement physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
Collaborate seamlessly with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to achieve optimal outcomes
Educate patients and their families on therapeutic objectives, discharge strategies, and home exercise programs
Accurately document evaluations, treatments, and progress following facility and regulatory standards
Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary discussions to guarantee cohesive care
Education
~ Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution

Certifications
State licensure as a Physical Therapist
CPR certification preferred
Additional specialized certifications (i.e., neurological, geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory
Skills
Prior experience in the field is highly preferred
