HR Generalist - Recruiting & Employee Engagement

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing comprehensive human resources support including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, employee engagement, and compliance with employment laws and regulations. This position serves as a trusted resource to employees while ensuring HR practices are consistent, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a team player with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to jump in and help when needed, possessing strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a solid understanding of HR best practices.
Assist with end-to-end recruitment processes including: sourcing and screening, providing guidance on the selection of candidates, processing offers, and background checks.
Partner with hiring managers to support recruitment efforts, role definition, and workforce planning.
Maintain candidate pipelines and applicant tracking systems.
Benchmark and enhance recruiting processes to ensure outstanding applicant experience.
Coordinate with the training team to facilitate employee orientation.
Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
Maintain compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Contribute to HR reporting and analytics to support decision-making and process improvement.
Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Support and/or lead HR projects and company initiatives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 3+ years of solid experience as a HR Generalist.
High volume recruiting in a multi-state call center environment a plus.
Strong MS Office skills including Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with ATS and HRIS systems. Strong interpersonal skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Experience recruiting and employing creative recruitment and retention strategies.
