Position Type: Contract
Contract Duration: 7 months
Shift / Schedule: 2nd Shift MondayFriday, 3:00 PM 11:30 PM (training on 1st Shift, 6:30 AM 3:00 PM, until training period is complete)

The Material Handler Shipping is ultimately responsible for managing process flow in the Shipping department. This includes safely and properly fulfilling orders for customers in a timely manner. Using tools such as pallet jacks, Material Handlers transition pallets of product to the order staging area and ultimately onto the customer truck for shipment to the product's final destination.
Operate a walkie rider pallet jack for pulling orders and transporting pallets of product
Load and unload pallets to and from trucks
Use handheld computers and other technology to track load progress
Ability to be flexible with day-to-day responsibilities and work in other areas according to business need
Ability to adhere to company policies, processes, regulations, and procedures in a positive manner
Overtime as required
Forklift certified (must be Forklift Certified)
Ability to read orders and record information in English
A minimum of 6 months of forklift experience
